Polishing Nano Ceramica

Automotive ceramic coating, a novelty in the market, is the evolution of other aesthetic techniques with the use of nanotechnology. For more insights jump to: nano ceramic coating

Automotive ceramic coating goes beyond protection, it has the ability to regenerate the paint after 24 hours of its application with the effect of heat, temperature above 60º C, with sun exposure or thermal blower. Its composition is totally different from other known processes in automotive aesthetics. This is because, to be crystalline, the ceramic product has a compact and rigid molecular structure formed by three components that have different functions, with silicon nitride responsible for the resistance, silicon carbide gives hardness and silicon dioxide guarantees the gloss in the paint. The chemical composition was developed exclusively for automotive painting.

These characteristics make the self-regenerating ceramic coating highly efficient not only in protecting the paint, but also due to its regenerative capacity. “There are several processes in the automotive aesthetic market, it cannot be generalized. The ceramic coating is totally different from the vitrifier or glass coating that is manufactured based on amorphous, that is, glass ”, explains Carlos Eduardo Sampel, owner of Mister Vapor, the first automotive aesthetic company in São Paulo to use the self-healing ceramic coating.

According to Sampel, consumers need to understand the differences between the services offered to choose the most suitable for their car.

More rigid, the self-regenerating ceramic coating, in addition to protecting the paint and being water resistant, performs constant paint regeneration. “This way, the car is always looking new, even when exposed to the sun, and the intervals between washes are also increased, ensuring practicality, economy and preservation of the painting”, he highlights.

There are options for treating ceramic tiles with the application of two products: Feynlab Heal Lite, which requires a single step and offers regeneration capacity of 60% of the paint micro-scratches and a five-year durability, and Feynlab Heal Plus, which has a thick nano coating with total regeneration, that is, 100% of the paint micro-scratches, with three stages of application and a seven-year durability.
